SGIB's Soap Box is dedicated to inform you, our readers, of the people who make decisions in your lives, by providing a free forum in which elected officials can bring you their message. Our hope is that you will become a more informed voter, an "independent thinking voter", when election time comes around.

Unfortunately, this issue does not have a politician's voice. What's up with that?
One would think in a presidential election year, that an offer to speak freely in a non-partisan forum, in a publication that speaks to all ages, that the politician's would jump at the chance to express themselves. Well, they haven't.
So, when election time rolls around, cast your vote as an independant thinker, not as a partisan follower.
