Dear Mom, Thanx for taking me on as a student (and for passing on the jeans (genes). I wasn't the easiest to teach. You taught me to believe I could paint, and stressed that I needed to focus on the basic techniques and principals, and that it wasn't going to look like much until I got a little on the canvas. Patience is a virtue. It has taken many years to realize I got it, and that it's easy if you don't get in your own way. Thank you for your inspiration. Love, Lisa
