Structure - Our enclosures have full welded steel frames made of 2” square tubing. These frames support the outer sheet metal skin, which is made of 12 gauge galvannealed steel. This is the same material used for truck and trailer bodies, signs and steel doors – it is intended for use in tough outdoor applications. Paint - The enclosures are powder coated with a UV protected textured finish. This makes for a hard, scratch resistant surface well suited for harsh environments and everyday use. The powder application process also helps to seal joints, thereby weatherproofing the box. Our standard color is dark brown. A myriad of color options are available for larger orders. Hardware - All hardware is either stainless steel or zinc plated steel to avoid corrosion. Because of the possibility of accidental damage, the doors, latch and bottom pan are all field replaceable. Tamper resistant screws are used for replaceable items to minimize unauthorized removal. We can suggest a spare parts list of items to keep on hand for replacing damaged parts.
