- Digitizing Process:
The digitizing process takes your artwork or picture and, through computerized software, transforms the image into stitches that can be read by the embroidery equipment - resulting in the design being sewn out.
Customers are provided with the digitized design to review and approve and a test sample is sewn out before actual work begins.
- Location & Size of Design:
Location | Average Size | Left Chest | 2 x 4 " | Center Chest | 5 x 7 " | Back | 9 x 12 " |
- Embroidery Limitations Examples:
Fabrics – Heavy woven sweaters do not embroidery well, and fine details or small lettering on corduroy fade into fabric.
Design Size – For the left chest the design should be no more than 4 inches in width or it runs into the armpit area.
Lettering Size – Letters cannot be embroidered less than 3/16" in size.
Placement – Letters or designs on pockets do not lend themselves to embroidery since there is no way to hoop the garment area.
