The Ruby Slipper is located just a short distance from Portland and close to the Regional Lakes of Maine on Route 302.

Route 302 is also known as the Roosevelt Trail, named after President Teddy Roosevelt who used to travel on this road for his camping trips in Maine. Route 302 is the major East/West highway connecting Portland and New Hampshire.

We are approximately 2 Hours from Boston and 12 miles from the Portland International Jetport. During the Fall months the Route is especially beautiful due to the spectacular fall foliage, which attracts visitors from all over the nation as well as international travelers.

We are open from May 1st through December... every day except Wednesday. Join us at anytime time of the year for a truly memorable experience.
