FRAUD WARNING!
Be suspicious if someone offers to buy your aircraft or parts
with a cashiers check for an amount significantly more than what you are asking.
It's a common scam and they usually request that you refund the difference to a third party.
These fraudulent offers are polite but poor spelling and grammar usually gives them away.
Typical inquiries begin with "Good Day" and ask for your "Best Price" or "Last Offer".
These people are mostly abroad, often claiming to be based in the UK or Africa.

SALE PENDING: 1943 L-5 OBSERVER FOR SALE: S/N 42-98276. Great condition! 370 SMOH in May 2005. Wood prop, new battery, stock instrument panel, original instruments overhauled and refaced, new tires and tubes, new brake pads (Cleveland brakes installed) and many other repairs and upgrades. Maintained by Tabair so it has received top quality work since I've owned it. A turnkey airplane that is a mechanical '10'. Well over $60,000 invested, asking $49,000. Relisted 10-11-08: 1943 L-5 "OBSERVER" FOR SALE: I have a very nicely restored 1943 Stinson L-5 (observer model) for sale. Current annual. It has a standard WW2 olive drab paint scheme and some nice features, like Becker radios and droop aileron wings. Relisted 10-11-08: 1945 STINSON L-5G AMBULANCE FOR SALE: N60440. This aircraft has just been through a two-year restoration. Airframe was completely dissembled and all metal parts were stripped and painted with epoxy undercoat. Wood parts were epoxy varnished. Finished with Stits Poly Fiber fabric and paint. USAAF olive drab paint scheme with "invasion stripes". Engine 810 TT and 403 TSMOH. Since it had not flown since 1976 it was completely dissembled and all parts were cleaned and inspected including magnaflux of crankshaft, connecting rods and other internal steel. Engine was reassembled with new gaskets, runs very well and uses little oil. Includes new Sensenich wood prop and Jasco alternator conversion. Other new parts include compass, oil temp gauge, noise canceling intercom, seat cushions, strobe lights, window glass, ELT, battery and tires. Aircraft has flown regularly since restoration was completed in June 2007 and it is a very solid flying and beautiful machine. Spare engine cowl is also included along with engineering drawings on CD, parts manual, maintenance books and pilot flight manuals. PRICE $59,000. NEW LISTING 10-11-08: 1945 STINSON L-5E PROJECT: Wings and stabilizers all complete through primer. Fuselage tubing primed. Many engine parts, 3 cases, 3 cranks, numerous cylinders yellow tagged. All other accessories are there, but not overhauled. Ailerons, flaps and rudder are not touched yet. Prop has a dent. Spare "Clevenger" fuselage comes with it. REPRO L-5 FUEL SELECTOR PLACARDS!!! Beautiful and authentic. This is the plastic piece that goes around the outside of the fuel selector and says "18 U.S. GALS" above each tank position. NEW 10-11-08: L-5 LIFT STRUTS AND AILERONS NEEDED: We need a complete set of lift struts (preferably aluminum) for our L-5E museum project that is being restored to flying condition.
