Which credit cards to you accept? Visa and Mastercard are prefered. We will accept Discover/Novus and American Express cards from our corporate accounts.
What is the rental reservation period? A rental period is 24 hours. Many items can be rented by the ˝ day (4 hours), or by the week or the month. We offer a special 1˝ days rate from Saturday to Monday morning.
How much in advance do I need to make my reservations? Depending on the popularity of the item, you will want to place your reservation as much in advance as possible. We are able to accept reservations up to a year prior to the event.
When do I need to return my rental item? Monday through Friday items need to be returned 24 hours from the time you pick them up from the store. Saturday rentals are required to be returned before the store closes at 5PM.
Can I cancel my reservation anytime and without a penalty? Reservations may be cancelled without penalty with the following exceptions: Moonwalks and Tents carry a $50.00 penalty for cancellation; and machinery requires 48 hours cancellation notice to avoid penalty.
Am I responsible for fuel charges on certain rentals? Additional fuel charges will be assessed for larger equipment. Smaller equipment rentals leaving the store with full tanks of fuel are expected to be returned with full tanks to avoid additional fuel charges.
Will you show me how to operate the machinery I rent? At the time of delivery, we will be happy to run you through the operation of the equipment.
Do you have operators available to operate the equipment on site? We can provide experienced machine operators for an hourly rate.
Where do you deliver? We deliver anywhere for a delivery fee based on mileage.
Does a tent rental include set up and tear down? We are trained to set up and take down our tents so they remain in the best possible condition.
How many people does it take to set and and take down a moonwalk? It takes two people to unload a moonwalk. Then you unroll it, plug it in and it inflates for use in approximately 3 minutes.
Do you ever sell any of your used rental equipment? We make some of our rental equipment available for sale. See our promotional section for current listing of equipment for sale.
What do you have for sale inside the showroom? We have contractors and home owners supplies, parts, accessories and equipment, lawn and garden products and party goods for sale in our showroom.
What companies are you authorized dealers for? Norfolk Grand Rental Station, Inc. is an authorized dealer for the following manufacturers: Fradan, Makita, Partner, Hotsi, Honda, Hitachi, John Deere, Takeuchi, Pow’R Gard, and Edco.
Can you order parts and equipment that I need that are not in stock? We will be happy to order products at your request from those companies that we are an authorized dealer.
Do you fill propane tanks? Yes. Your tank is required to have the OPD valve and the bottle must be within the current expiration date.
