  • Nature Treks transports to many rivers in Portage County and Central Wisconsin. If we have to leave the county there is an additional charge per rental package. Check our rivers and trails page for write ups. Most of these river runs will take a good half day so come prepared. Shorter runs are great for the small office or business outing and private parties. We offer voyaguer canoe runs on the Wisconsin River for groups up to 10 persons.

    *If helping with local conservation projects is your thing than check out the Golden Sands Resource Conservation website. Count Prairie Chickens, Celebrate Wisconsin Grasslands, visit the historic Hamerstrom Home or see wildlife in the Mead, Buena Vista, Sandhill and Olson Wildlife Areas.
    Reserve your space to view "Prairie Chickens" locally at the Carl and Carol Flaig Farm located northwest of Rudolph 715-570-0782. Nature Treks will be offering shuttle for you early birds from March 29 to May 4 2008 or until the booming season ends!
