A. Lay flat base/sides on a scratch proof surface. B. Place one outstretched hand on base section of cage alongside crease/bend line of side to be bent up. C. Slide other hand under side (flap) and, using even preassure along length of side, bend up 95°. D. Repeat for all four sides.

Once sides are bent up, at each corner bend second (from top) protruding side wire 150° - 180° around adjoining side end vertical side wire to lock in place.

Set top on cage so that majority of side protruding wires extend through inside of top horizontal outside wires. Bend 1 wire end over 90° in an outward direction at center of each side under 8” and 2 spaced wires on sides over 8”.
