Chattam & Wells is a sleep product that has been developed by artisans. The Chattam & Wells mattress has been designed to provide a comfortable, restful night’s sleep in an ultra luxurious, healthful manner. With the development of Chattam & Wells, we continue the tradition of fine craftsmanship that had been in the family for generations. HERE IS SOME HISTORY
How did a company like Chattam & Wells begin?
Chattam & Wells, while relatively new to the mattress market place, actually has a foundation as a family business that was established many years ago.
In the early 1900’s, the Kluft family emigrated from Russia to America. The family had enjoyed a reputation for making hand crafted textile products in Europe. Once settled in their new home, the family became involved early on in the manufacture of bedding products. They eventually formed their own company and this led the way to an eventual move to California
The small company started out refurbishing mattresses. Raw materials were hard to come by. To maintain quality and durability, only the finest components were used.
This long family tradition of hand craftsmanship went in to the development of all the products offered. The company grew with the California economy. It became time to expand and take the next step. Joining the Spring Air group of franchises allowed the company to expand with a nationally recognized brand.
Practices that became part of the day to day routine set the stage for the success of the Spring Air franchise and the development of additional products. The success of the Spring Air product line, other product offerings and the attention to detail and quality, led to the development of Chattam & Wells, the finest and fastest growing ultra premium mattress product in the marketplace today.

Now we are proud to be in partnership with selected manufacturing facilities across the country that are able to offer the Chattam & Wells product manufactured to the same exacting standards that were developed by the originating facility. This assures the consumer that they are enjoying quality, comfort, and better heath through a mattress that is manufactured with the finest components available.
We have taken the elements that made the company great and we are sharing them with our partners. This will strengthen the brand as well as the product to provide the consumer with the ultimate in a luxurious sleep experience. A luxurious experience that provides a healthful night’s sleep using the finest components and construction techniques available.
While other manufacturers may utilize some of the same components and raw materials, no other major manufacturer takes all of these components, all of these elements and combines them into one product.
