HOW TO ORDER: I created this web-site myself and it just would not do all the things I wanted. Therefore, you may order five different ways:
1.On-line using the shopping cart: This is a secure website. We accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover cards. Your sales tax at 6% if within Connecticut and shipping are computed automatically. Shipping is by USPS Priority Mail, $7. plus .50 per plant. We ship every Monday. The shopping cart works for Hosta, Daylilies and Iris. For other items you must contact us in one of the following ways.
.
2.You may order by e-mail requesting the items you wish and we will get back to you with the exact amount. We suggest you do not supply credit card information by e-mail.
3.You may mail us a list of what you wish with a check or credit card information. Our catalog contains an order form for your convenience.
.
4.You may phone in your order between 10a.m. and 5p.m. any day from Mid-May through September 1.
.
5.You may fax your order to 860 675-9333. Be sure you indicate contact information in case we have questions.
.
Our farm is state inspected and we guarantee our plants to be healthy and true name. If for any reason you are not satisfied, return your plants immediately with the original labels for refund or replacement. We include bonus plants of our choice with all mail orders.
.
DAYLILIES: Our plants are shipped within 24 hours of digging. The prices listed are for a minimum of 2 fans, and in many cases we will ship more depending on our inventory.
Diploid daylilies are those that have 22 chromosomes. They usually, but not always, are the more graceful daylily with thinner foliage and scapes. The early daylily was diploid.
Tetraploid daylilies are those that have 44 chromosomes. They tend to have robust foliage, thick scapes and large flowers.
Daylilies require 6 hours of sun daily to perform their best. Complete planting instructions are included with your order.
.
HOSTA: Sizes are for the width of the hosta plant. Dwarf is less than 12" across, small is up to 2' wide, medium is up to 4' across, large is 4-5' across and very large is a great big hosta that can be 5-8' wide at maturity which may take up to 8 years.
Hosta prices are for 1-2 eyed plants that we have grown for at least one year. They are shipped bare root. Larger plants are available at the farm only, due to shipping costs.
.
IRIS: This year plants are shipped bare root the beginning of August to allow time for their roots to establish prior to winter. Prices are for a minimum of two plants and instructions are included.
.
Perennials and Hydrangea are not shipped at this time and are available only by visiting the farm.
.
