 Jamaican Plantation BedThis mahogany bed is a fine example of a traditional West Indian form. The elavorately carved headboard appears to flowinto the concave-convex rope twist headposts. The footposts feature an acanthus leaf vase and reeded urn. The blocks, decorated with inset bees wing panels and hadn carved bolt covers, are joined by a ribbon carved cross rail. Optinal flat canopy frame, and or finials are available. The post height is 94", and the top of the rail 21".
