Melon carving refers to the bold reeds while chip-carving describes the small notches along the edge of the flared rims. Bulbous melon carved finials are crafted to complement the poss. Optional bow canopy frame is available. The measurements are: post height 61.5", with the finials 65", the top of the rail is 19". This bed is shown in queen size, and built with Maple.
