Both Stephen and I have spent nearly 30 years devoting our free time to searching out and touring diverse historic sites from Deerfield, Massachusetts to Williamsburg, Virginia" from Charlestown, South Carolina to Salem, Massachusetts" and a multitude of similar sites from Maine to Florida. What came out of these many trips and years of personal collecting was the desire to have our own piece of 18th century America to enjoy and share with others.

In July of 2001 we opened Jeremiah Campbell & Company on Route One in Cape Neddick, Maine in a renovation of the building that we had run as a restaurant for nearly 25 years. In the showrooms of our shop we have gathered together what we feel is an outstanding collection of the work of some of America's premier crafts people, along with an excellent presentation of pieces from superb manufacturers of upholstered furniture.
