Every year we open our greenery barn and tree fields for Choose-n-Cut. We welcome families who choose to come to the farm to pick out their Christmas tree. Our family feels blessed to offer this experience to other families as they create precious memories of this joyous time of the year.

On Thanksgiving Weekend (see below for hours of operation) the Tree Field will be open for those who want to get their tree early before the crowds. Wreaths and garland will be available for sale at the tree field location.
Alleghany County's Choose-n-Cut Weekend is the first Saturday and Sunday in December (see below for hours of operation). Our Tree Field and Greenery Barn will be open on Saturday and the Tree Field will be open on Sunday. Trees, wreaths and garland can be purchased at the Tree Field. Wreaths, garland, arts, crafts and food are available at the Greenery Barn on Saturday.
This year we are very pleased to be part of a national effort called TREES FOR TROOPS which will provide more than 15,000 Real Christmas Trees to military families across the United States and overseas.
Since 2005 Christmas Tree farmers and retailers have donated their own trees for the Trees for Troops program. The Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, the non-profit that implements Trees for Troops, received many requests from the public on how they could help. This year, you will have the opportunity to purchase a tree at our Choose-n-Cut field that will be delivered to a military family in the United States. Trees for Troops will be held during our Choose-n-Cut Weekend (Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday, Dec. 6). Please try to participate in this very special event to help support a military family. Santa Claus will be visiting our farm on Thanksgiving Weekend and Choose-n-Cut Weekend. Please see the information below for Santa's dates and times.
