 Carolyn, Elizabeth, Ryan, and Chris Milligan lived on the beach at Madison, Connecticut. After a severe storm their house was surrounded by water. Friends pointed out, "Oh, you live on Milligan's Island!"
That's why, when they discovered a root beer they fell in love with, they decided to start a root beer company and call it "Milligan's Island." In consultation with a master flavor brewer, they came up with our own exclusive formula. At our tropical booth at the Durham Fair, customers said, "This is awesome!"
